Nymph Falls

Posted by: | April 4, 2011 | No Comment |

Where should you go on Vancouver Island?

I have the answer. It is my favorite place to go here, it is called Nymph Falls!

There is a ton of things to do there like sunbathing, swimming or going into holes and coming out in a different location! Yeah, I am not kidding! I always go there to swim with these really tiny fish! There is a ton of them!

You can also go there in the winter and walk in the trails, bike or just go down to see the AWESOME view!

I went down there with Maya a while ago and we biked through the trails. It was fun! Its funny that I went there in a t-shirt, 2 sweaters and a Fall jacket and I ended up just wearing my t-shirt!

If you haven’t been there you should defiantly check it out!

Beef Jerky!

Posted by: | April 3, 2011 | No Comment |

So my friend Meghan is always doing her posts on food so that is what I am going to do a post on!

As you can see from the title of this post it is on one of my favorite foods in the world!

Lately me and my friend Maya have been having a little obsession with it! Can you blame us?

The only bad thing about beef jerky is that it is SUPER expensive! I mean what is it? It is beef that is dried with seasoning on it!

I have to admit it is not my absolute favorite food but is high up on the list!

What is your favorite food? Comment below for your opinion!

I am going on a picnic!

Posted by: | March 10, 2011 | 27 Comments |

I go on road trips a lot and there is this game we play! Its called I’m going on a picnic. Its really fun and I thought that I would do one on my blog! Here’s how you play!

I say “I am going on a picnic and I am bringing a card” Then you have to ask me if you could bring  a mud pie or something and I would say no. See the category was 4 letter words and mud pie is 6 letters. You could have brought a chip!

Now I am going to pick a different category and when you think you know what the category is you can guess!

This is the real thing: I am going on a picnic and I am bringing Paris

Now it is your turn to guess!

Hedgehogs!

Posted by: | February 17, 2011 | 6 Comments |

I really, really, really want a pet hedgehog! Not the ones in Europe that are big Hedgieand run around in your garden! An African Pygmy Hedgie!

I know that this is an unusual post for me, because I normally do little fun tests and stuff, but I think I should do a normal one for once!

If I got one I would name it Hunca Munca! You might be wondering why, and I will tell you! When I was a little kid my parent read Beatrix Potter to me. There is a book with a mouse and its name is Hunca Munca and I always loved those books!

I am not allowed one though I really want one. I have done a lot of research and  they’re easy to take care of.

All of my friends have a small animal that we love! I love hedgehogs (oblivious), my friend Maya has 2 leopard geckos, Meggs has 2 guinea pigs and Jane had a hamster but it died in about a week,  because of a illness. Darion wants a Horse but she doesn’t really have the room for one, but a horse is not really a small animal! But me and Meggs want a horse too.

What is your absolute favorite animal? Tell me in the comments.

Can you write your name? Of course you can! But can you spell it with your chin?

Try writing your name all these ways:                     Keyboard

  1. With your Chin
  2. With your nose
  3. With your Knuckles
  4. With your Forehead
  5. With your Elbow
  6. With your Ear
  7. With your eyes closed
  8. Backward

Here is mine:

  1. Chin- arewen
  2. Nose- arwen
  3. Knuckles- arwen
  4. Forehead- qa5ww3eeh
  5. Elbow- arwen  nnn
  6. Ear-sdazrez b,n
  7. Eyes Closed- Arwen
  8. Backwards- Newra

Now you try! But make sure you write your name normally first so that others can see how badly you messed up!

Plastic Bags

Posted by: | January 6, 2011 | 9 Comments |

Every Little HelpsYou may wonder why I picked to talk about plastic bags, but I have a reason. The reason is that I have seen some things that really creeped me out about plastic bags.

In a year over 100 000 turtles, dolphins, whales, seals, birds and more are killed by plastic bags. In 2000 a Byrdes whale dies with 6 square meters of plastic in its stomach. United States Environmental protection found out that 500 billion to a trillion plastic bags are consumed each year and that less than 1% is recycled. A lot of these are dumped into ocean-fills, seas, lakes and rivers.  It takes 1000 years for a plastic bag to break down.

Many places all over the world are banning plastic bags all over the world and some places are charging money and even that makes a huge difference. I just thought that more people should be aware.

Hello readers,

I want to say (to everyone that commented) thanks. I love when people comment  because I get to see the cool places they live and if they have a blog I get to check their blog ideas.

My main thanks is to Kirsten who was the first person (outside of my class) to follow what I was doing, so thanks to you if you read this. Kirsten is from a really cool blog called Diamond in the rough.
